Jingle's Story

Last weekend, a kind Samaritan found a dog hit by a car in the road. His front leg was badly injured, with the broken bone exposed and skin torn right off. The finder rushed him to a vet hospital, and the vet called us. We said we'd help, and we took over his care right away. Due to the extreme condition of his leg and risk for infection, the vet recommended amputation right away.

Jingle is now a happy tripod boy. He took to the three legs immediately, and he hasn't missed a step. He's a sweet, young dog, estimated right around a year old. Through every poke and prod and even while in pain, he's been all tail wags and kisses.

Whoever gets to adopt this handsome boy is going to be oh so lucky. He is now fully vetted, neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, etc. He is adoptable locally (Houston) and out of state. We are accepting adoption applications for Jingle now at caitiesfosterfam.org/adopt

Caitie's Foster Fam's Adoption Policy
• Potential adopters are required to submit an adoption application and be approved before they can physically meet a foster dog. All pets in the home must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered (medical exceptions must be communicated). We require an application, virtual home visit, personal/vet references, meet and greet, and $350 adoption fee. • Suitable applicants may be contacted for additional screening. • Once approved, meet and greets with the foster dog and foster parents will be scheduled with qualified applicants. • The adopter pays adoption fees and signs an adoption contract. Foster dogs cannot go to a potential adopter’s home until the fee and contract are received. Foster dog then goes to its new forever home.
