Hi! My name is Jimmy Lee! I am the sweetest beagle boy!!! I'm very affectionate! I love ear rubs! I was surrendered to a veterinarian nearly 2 months ago because I couldn't use my 2 back legs! I had always lived as an outdoor dog & my old owner couldn't keep me anymore. But it turns out I had Lymes disease & Anaplasma. So the vet office treated me for that & now I can walk again! (It's possible I could have hurt my back also. The vet didn't really know). Check out my video of my progress as I recovered! I'm still a little wobbly on my back legs, but I'm doing really good overall! Anyways, the vet office contacted Nittany Beagle Rescue to see if they could find me a wonderful forever home, & here I am! I'm looking for my perfect forever home! I'm in a foster home with steps to the back yard, & so I'm getting good exercise going up & down the stair to the yard. I need to walk slowly on the steps because we don't know if my lameness was from the Lymes or a back injury. I'm not supposed to jump off of things either. All that being said, I'm doing great! BTW I LOVE SNOW!!! I also love stuffed toys. And I get along great with other dogs, cats & people! Even though I was an outdoor dog in my past life, I'm basically housetrained now! I will go to the door & whine when I need to go outside. When I go to a new home, I may need a little work on housetraining since it will be new for me. Boy, do I love living in a home with people & my doggie foster-siblings! I love to be on the couch & to snuggle in my blanket! Recently I started barking when I'm in a crate. So I may be developing a little separation anxiety. So my new family may need to work with me on that. I'm already neutered & up-to- date on vaccines. I'm about 4.5 years old & I weigh about 30 lbs or so. Are you the right home for me? If so, please think about making me part of your family! Kennel License #4068
