I didnt try to pick them up or force them to interact. Instead, I let them move at their own pace and decide when they were ready.<br/><br/>Because my backyard is very secure, I let them explore outside and go potty. When it was time to come back inside, I called them—and they came right back in! By continuing to move slowly and showing them they were safe, I began to earn their trust.
