Jim's Story

Meet Jim - or Jimbo - or Jimmy Jim Jim - or Jimmy Jams! He has an endless list nicknames. 😋

Jim is a young pittie mix with movie-star good looks and a personality to match. This handsome boy is equal parts athlete, goofball, and cuddle connoisseur. If there’s a ball anywhere within a five-mile radius, Jim will find it - he’s basically a professional lost-ball recovery specialist. He can happily entertain himself for ages tossing, chasing, and proudly parading his latest treasure.

Stuffed toys? Jim believes they’re meant to make snow. Unless it’s a truly Jim-proof toy, he’ll make it snow stuffing in record time. When he’s not busy “redecorating,” Jim loves long hikes, exploring the outdoors, and then settling in for couch time - as long as it includes generous belly rubs.

Jim is a big fan of pup cups and the idea of car rides… though once the car starts moving, you get “Statue Jim” where he sits perfectly still the whole way. He’s still figuring that part out and will need a little patience and encouragement - and pup cups - to build confidence on the road.

Jim’s open to meeting other dogs and can enjoy canine friendships, though he can be selective about his dog pals. He’d thrive with an adopter who’s willing to continue basic training and help channel his puppy-like enthusiasm - he is eager, smart, and ready to learn! Jim would do best in a home without cats.

If you’re looking for a loyal, entertaining, and incredibly lovable companion who will keep you laughing and fill your home with joy (and maybe the occasional fluff), Jim might just be your perfect match!

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 11-5pm.

---

The Pennsylvania SPCA - Main Line Animal Rescue

1149 Pike Springs Rd

Chester Springs, PA 19425

Kennel #2857

610-933-0606

info@mlar.org
