Jill's Story

Jill is a typical puppy - sweet, playful, curious, and full of energy. She’s at that fun stage where everything is new and exciting, and she’s eager to learn about the world around her. Like all puppies, Jill will need a responsible and committed owner who understands the time, patience, and training that come with raising a young dog.

Jill would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of toys and enrichment to keep her busy and mentally stimulated. She’s still learning good manners and will benefit greatly from consistent training and positive guidance.

Just like all pups, proper socialization is a must for Jill. Exposure to new people, places, and other dogs will help her grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult. With love, structure, and dedication, Jill has the potential to be an amazing lifelong companion.

Tri-City Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Texas Driver's License, and fill out a pre-adoption application. The adoption fee for our pets is $75.00. For the dogs it includes a DA2PPV vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, and a heartworm test (if old enough) and collar. For the cats, it includes an FVRCCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, sterilization, microchip with registration, cardboard carrier, and a collar. State law requires that all pets adopted from an animal shelter be spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies. Adopted pets will be taken by shelter staff to a participating local veterinarian for sterilization within the next two business days. The adopter can pick up the pet from the vet clinic after the surgery has been completed. If the pet you are adopting is not able to be sterilized or rabies vaccinated at the time of adoption, you will sign an agreement to have this done within a specified amount of time.
