Jewels's Story
Jewels was found on the Reservation with 6 little puppies. She wondered into a police station and the officers were afraid the pups would run out into the streets and be hurt, so they reached out to rescues and we were contacted, that was 2 years ago. All of her babies have left the nest into their forever homes, but Jewels waits patiently for her turn. Jewels is quiet and a bit shy at first meeting, she is not going to be good around small children only because of their quick actions. She is a heeler mix about 3 1/2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her shots. Jewels travels well in a car, loves her walks, and may chase a lizard or rabbit if she sees one, but that is the heeler in her. Jewels would love to have a family of her own, and if you have another polite, but playful dog we would have to do a meet and greet to see how she gets along. We don't know if she's ever met a cat. If you are interested in meeting her then please call us @ 928-925-7219 and we can set up a time and day for you to come out. Let's get this beautiful girl in a forever home.
