Jewel

This sweet girl's name is Jewel- just like the ones in her eyes :). We are not completely certain of what this husky mix is blended with- but she is sure sugar from her ears to her tail. Ms. Jewel has one blue eye and one brown eye. <br/>Jewel is a recent empty nester- she had TEN puppies- and now that they are all adopted she is ready to be with a family of a different species! <br/><br/>Turns out Ms. Jewel does very well in the presence of children and is gentle when she licks their hands and wants to meet everyone at least once :). Ms. Jewel is also eager to meet other dogs - and give them kisses on the nose. She is very calm and friendly. <br/><br/>Note: We are not certain of Jewel's home life before she came to the shelter- however when she is outside or on a leash she makes it a point to use the restroom and also does her business away from her food, bed and blanket.
