Jetta is living her best life in a foster home and is truly a dream girl. She’s fully potty trained, kennel trained (just be sure to lock it ), and has wonderful house manners. At night, she prefers sleeping on the couch or snuggled under the covers with her people — head on the pillow included. Total velcro girl who loves being near her humans.<br/><br/>She’s great with cats (she thinks they’re friends), great with kids (in a foster home with bigger kids), and does amazing in the car — especially if Starbucks or Chick-fil-A pup cups are involved. Jetta knows sit, down, and up, has great recall in the house and yard, and is very food motivated, making training easy. She redirects well with verbal cues and treats.<br/><br/>Jetta loves peanut butter, cheese, pizza, treats, and all the toys — balls, ropes, and stuffies are her favorites. Baths are tolerated (the blow dryer is a hard no).<br/><br/>She rarely barks, doesn’t beg for food, doesn’t counter surf, and for never being an inside dog before, her manners are seriously impressive.<br/><br/>One of her puppies was in the foster home with her and she did great. Jetta did get stressed at an adoption event with so many other dogs, but it was super crowded, so she would just want to meet any potential doggy siblings to be sure it’s a good fit, but she also wouldn’t mind being the only dog in your life so she can soak up all the cuddles.<br/><br/>Jetta is the kind of girl who will steal your spot on the couch — and your heart — without even trying. If you’re ready for endless cuddles, Jetta is ready for you.<br/><br/>Jetta is a one year old Lab mix that weighs 48 lbs. <br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A DOG<br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
