Born on 12/03/2024, this handsome little guy is full of puppy energy, curiosity, and athleticism. He’s neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative — ready to start his next chapter with a loving forever family.<br/><br/>Jethro was originally adopted by a wonderful woman who loved him very much, but caring for a busy young puppy in a senior living facility became more than she could comfortably manage. Wanting the very best for him, she made the difficult and loving decision to help him find a home better suited for his active lifestyle.<br/><br/>This energetic young boy loves being close to his people and enjoys staying involved in whatever you’re doing, though he’s more of a playful sidekick than a couch snuggler. He absolutely loves treats, adores playing with other dogs, and will relentlessly ask his furry friends to play until they finally give in. He rides wonderfully in the car and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He can also live with dog-savvy cats, but like many playful puppies, he may try to chase them if they run.<br/><br/>Jethro is crate trained and does use puppy pads, but he is still learning and isn’t perfect yet. He will need a patient adopter who is home often, willing to continue working on his potty training and puppy manners, and able to provide plenty of exercise, structure, and supervision. He is very athletic and can jump surprisingly high — even up to counter height — so keeping tempting items out of reach is a must!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a fun, lively little companion and are ready to invest time into helping a smart young Maltese learn his “puppy perfection” skills, Jethro may be the perfect fit for you.<br/><br/>Interested in giving Jethro his forever home?
