Jessie's Story
Courtesy Post By Denton Humane Society

This beautiful girl is named Jessie. She is a labrador/pit mix and is a light tan color with no markings. She is also 4-years old and is approximately 60 pounds. She LOVES to romp in the water and loves it when you play with her with the water hose! She does not play fetch but does know how to “sit”, “lay down” and will obey if you tell her to “go lay down in your bed”. She IS potty trained (bonus), is good with cats and children! She is not aggressive and not a big barker. If anything, she is shy when it comes to meeting new people.

She has had the same owner since she was 8 weeks old, but is now needing to be rehomed, through no fault of her own. She and her brother Bruno have never been apart. They are totally bonded and play together and keep each other occupied. She never chews or destroys furniture and has a very mild temperament. She does crave affection though. Loves her snuggles and kisses!

She is current on her shots and has been spayed. We are asking for a small rehoming fee. They eat Costco brand dog food and have done fine with that. Very seldom do they get any people food.

If you have room in your life for a whole lot of wiggly love, please call their guardian. You can reach her through melissamjeglum@yahoo.com
