She came into our care before she ever opened her puppy eyes, after her mother was found near a cemetery, alone, cold, hungry, and pregnant searching for a safe place to give birth. A kind stranger reached out for help, and our team immediately stepped in to bring her mom to safety. Jessie and her siblings were later born at the shelter, surrounded by care, warmth, and protection. From the very beginning, Jessie’s life has been shaped by compassion.<br/><br/>Growing up in the shelter meant Jessie was constantly surrounded by people, attention, and affection and it shows. Jessie is a bit reserved at first meeting however she loves to run freely in the yard and stay active, her absolute favorite thing is belly rubs.
