Jessie's Story

Meet Jesse, a sensitive young pup who needs a patient and understanding home to help her grow. She's not your typical easygoing puppy-Jesse will require a lot of time, patience, and thoughtful socialization. She would do best in a family of adults or teens and preferably without men, who can give her space to settle in at her own pace.

Jesse is very slow to warm up and may bond more strongly with one person in the home, but that's part of her journey. She truly is a project pup, and whoever takes her on should be ready for a gradual process. But once she feels safe her sweet, playful puppy side finally comes out, and those moments are incredibly rewarding.

Because she can be vocal with unfamiliar people and sounds, Jesse may do better in a house rather than an apartment, where she'll have fewer triggers and more room to decompress.

If you're looking for a meaningful challenge and the chance to help a shy dog blossom into her best self, Jesse might be the perfect fit. She just needs someone willing to go slow, be patient, and celebrate every small victory along the way.

My adoption fee is $475 and includes the following:
-Spay/neuter surgery
-All current vaccinations
-Microchip
-FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals
-$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market
