While she’s been around a 16-year-old, she’s best suited for homes with adults and older children, as she’s shown some sensitivity around new people. <br/><br/>Jessi has lived with three cats and mostly ignores them, though she gets curious when they’re in playful mode. She did well with larger dogs in her previous foster home, but she can be resource guardy with her toys. With our smaller Boston Terrier, she’s been friendly and curious. <br/><br/>Her calm home environment is perfect for her. Jessi is mostly potty trained, but she drinks a lot of water due to Valley Fever, so she needs multiple potty breaks.<br/><br/> She loves stuffies and enjoys gutting them, as well as her Kong filled with treats. Although she can be stubborn about going into her kennel, she sleeps there comfortably when left alone. <br/><br/>Jessi walks well on a leash but can pull if she spots a lizard or rabbit. She’s strong and has a prey drive, so it’s important to keep a firm grip. <br/><br/>Once Jessi gets to know someone, she’s friendly and eager for attention. Her playful personality shines through, especially when she encounters sprinklers—she absolutely loves them!
