Hi, I’m Jesse!<br/><br/>I might only weigh 9 pounds, but my heart is bigger than you could imagine. I’m 8 years old, a chihuahua mix, and I’ve been learning what it feels like to finally be safe.<br/><br/>When I first came into foster care, I was shy and shaky. The world felt a little scary. But guess what? With love, soft blankets, and a family who let me snuggle on the couch, I’ve been wagging my tail more and more every day. I even love spending time outside and following the lead of my doggy foster brother.<br/><br/>I’m neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and I’m very motivated by treats (hint hint: this is how you win me over fast). I do still need some help remembering that outside is the best place to do my business, but I’m working hard on it and learning more every day.<br/><br/>What I really need now is a home where I can keep blossoming—with a cozy blanket, a gentle hand, and maybe even another dog to show me the ropes.
