Jesse's Story
2/20 Jesse is back from the vet and ready to go home! He is a goofy and friendly pup who will be glad to take up your whole couch. 1/27 Both Puppies are eating well and feeling much better! They still have a ways to go to get up to their best weight. 1/20 Jessie is back home, looking a little thin, but happy to be back where he will receive lots of treats and love from our volunteers who will help him get back to 100%. 1/11 Jesse is from a litter of puppies that were being given away. We were able to take two. He is a happy pup that is going to be huge! Shortly after arriving, he started to slow down. The vet found he was Parvovirus positive and we began treatment. Parvo is a potentially fatal disease. The survival rate of dogs treated by a veterinarian is 68 to 92 percent, and most puppies that survive the first three-to-four days make a complete recovery.
