Hi! My name is Jesse, and I'm an interesting guy. I grew up on the streets and came in "feral," but not in a mean way, just a scared way. I don't really know how to be a dog. I'm learning to accept love from humans. I'm trying to understand commands and learn basic training. The humans here say that I've come a really long way. I'm not so scared anymore. I get to be a lobby dog at PAWS sometimes, and it's really cool. They give me love and treats! However, I do prefer to spend those days inside the cat room. I love cats. No, like I REALLY love cats. I grew up with street cats, and they help me feel safe. I want to lick them and snuggle them. Some cats don't really like me, which hurts my feelings, but I still love them. They're very cute little animals. I also love other dogs. They make me feel silly and brave. I'm a gentle boy. I won't jump on you. Sometimes I nip at your clothes in a loving way when I want your attention, but I'm just still learning a lot. Anyway, I'm a real special guy, and I'd love to meet ya!
