Jessabelle's Story

IN FOSTER

Here's Jessabelle y'all—a true country girl at heart with a nose made for adventure and a spirit that runs faster than a pickup truck on a dirt road. This young pup is all about living loud, loving hard, and exploring the world one sniff at a time.

Jessabelle is growing up to be a big ol’ girl, and she’s already got that classic hound dog curiosity—nose down, tail up, and off she goes. She’s got more energy than a barn full of puppies, loves a good wrestling match, and plays like every day is a backyard hoedown. Her fosters lovingly describe her as a bit of a derp, and honestly… they’re not wrong. She’s goofy, clumsy, and endlessly entertaining.

She’s currently deep in her land-shark teething era, which means anything within reach might get a nibble. Training, consistency, and plenty of chew toys will be key to helping this country gal learn her manners. She’ll do best with an active family who doesn’t mind putting in the work and maybe doesn’t leave their boots lying around unattended.

When it comes to friends, Jessabelle is still learning the ropes. Cats look a little too much like squeaky toys right now, and other dogs can feel overwhelming—but with time, patience, and proper socialization, she’s got all the makings of a well-rounded dog.

After a long day of play, Jessabelle is happiest kicking back for cuddles, belly rubs, and some good old-fashioned affection. She’s sweet as peach pie, full of personality, and ready to trade her foster porch for a forever front yard.

If you’ve got the energy, the time, and the heart for a rowdy, lovable country pup, Jessabelle’s ready to ride shotgun straight into your life.
