Jess's Story

(DOB 09/14/2018) Jess is a hound girl through and through — goofy, chatty, and full of that classic houndy charm that'll have you smiling from sunrise to sunset! She lives with a house full of knucklehead furbabies who are her ride-or-die crew, helping her practice for the big moment when she finds her one true love — her Very Best Forever Home!

Jess is all about playtime, adventure, and laughs. She can be a little vocal (hey, she's a hound!) and has a silly side that shines when she's romping with her friends. She's dreaming of a home with a 6-foot fenced yard where she can stretch those legs, show off her hops, and zoom around with her future furry sibling. Just make sure her outdoor playtime comes with a “chaperone” — this clever little escape artist has moves that would impress an Olympian! Oh, and car rides - YES, please!

This playful girl would love an active family with another playful pup to share her adventures. She's crate trained, potty trained, and happy to snooze in her crate or curl up on the couch after a busy day of fun. Jess is also quite the chewer (she's got a passion for it!), so her new family will want to keep plenty of boredom-busting toys, bones, and bully sticks around to keep her happily occupied — and your furniture safe!

Jess hasn't met any cats yet, but we suspect she might be curious and give chase, so dog-savvy kitties with their own safe spaces would be best. If kids are in the home, they should be a bit older and ready to keep up with Jess's bouncy, tail-wagging energy.

If you are looking for fun, then look no further than Jess. She will have you laughing and smiling each and every day with her houndy-endless-lust-for-life! Jess can definitely fit the "Life of the Paw-ty!" role!

As part of Jess's $300 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Jess, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our
website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
