Or a general application telling us what kind of dog your looking for. 2-Vet Check A volunteer from the rescue will call your current and/or previous vet. Things we look for are making sure any other dogs living in your home are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. 3-Phone Screen A volunteer from the rescue, often the dogs foster human, will call you and do a phone screen. This is a great time to ask questions about the dog you want to meet and tell us more about you! 4-Meet and Greet It’s a date! Meet the pup that stole your heart and make sure it’s still love at first sight. This is usually done at the fosters home or yours. Transportation for the dog can be arranged if they are being fostered further away
