Jersey was picked up as a stray by some very caring people, not wanting him to continue running and possibly get hurt. They were hoping to take him to the vet, get chip information and reunite him with his family. Unfortunately, Jersey wasn't chipped and they didn't know what to do. They were elderly and unable to care for him, but also did not want to take him to the shelter. The vet called his foster and arrangements were made for him to be picked up. He was brought current on all vaccinations and chipped so he would always be able to find his way home. Jersey is a sweet and wonderful boy, but will need a family that is active and wants to include him in their activities. Because of his size and activity level, it would be best if he was in a home without small children until he begins to calm down a bit. Small animals and cats - unknown. Good with larger dogs with similar activity level. Great with all people; just a big lovebug. He really is a great dog deserving of a great family and unconditional love!
