Jerry's Story

Hi, I'm Jerry.
I'm a sixyearold border collie mix who came in as a stray, so my past is mostly unknown. What I can tell you is that I'm a gentle, sensitive guy who needs a little time to feel safe.

I'm definitely on the shy side and not very confident at first. I like to take things slow and get to know people at my own pace. But once I warm up, I'm all in. I turn into a super loving, silly dog who just wants to make you smile. When I see someone I trust, I jump up, zoom around, and do my happy dance.

I came in with another male dog, so I may do well with canine friends. We're not sure how I feel about cats yet.

If you're patient, kind, and willing to let me open up gradually, I'll reward you with all the joy and sweetness I've been saving up.

Come meet me - I'd love to show you my zoomies.
