Please meet Jerry, he is a 2-3 year old Labradoodle. He is a sweet loveable neutered male . He is good with kids and other dogs but not good with other farm animals. He is good in the house, doesn't get on the furniture or get into any other trouble. He is almost completely housebroke. He is just a big fluffy goofball. He is looking for his forever home with lots of attention and love. Izard County Animal Rescue Effort (ICARE)'s Adoption Policy

1. Complete an Application We want every pet to find a true forever home, so we match based on long-term fit, not first-come. Please complete the application at www.icarearkansas.com/application . Our Adoption Committee reviews it, calls you, and walks through any questions. We talk about daily care, exercise, vet visits, and how your current pets and family may adjust. If you rent, we confirm pet approval with your landlord. We also contact your two personal references and your vet. If you don’t have a vet yet, we’ll just make sure we’re on the same page about ongoing medical care. 2. Meet the Pet(s) Once you’re approved, we’ll set up a time for you to meet the pet(s) you’re interested in. We suggest everyone in your home attend if possible so you can see how the pet fits with your family. 3. Pay the Fee and Sign the Contract When you pick your new family member, you’ll meet with our adoption coordinator to pay the fee and sign the contract. We’ll answer any last questions so you feel ready and excited. 4. Pick Up Your New Pet Pick-up day is a happy day. For dogs, please bring a collar, leash, and harness so the trip home is safe and calm. We’ll send you home with the pet’s medical records and anything else you need to get started.
