Jericho is great with other dogs, no cats though, and is looking for a very special type of home. Though he has lots of people friends, Jericho has an odd way about showing his affection. He is very loud with his love, we like to call it the Jericho purr, or rumble. He can come off a bit intimidating to those that don't know him, or understand his way of love. You see, when Jerry is happy and showing affection, he makes a very throaty growl noise and gets really stiff. He enjoys being pet, snuggled, and loved on by his favourite people, and loves his toys. When he gets really excited he likes to bring you toys so you can see how proud he is of them. He will also bring his blanket to show you. Jericho is not a dog for nervous people, he would do best with no kids in the home, and a family with a very open mind! He also loves going on trail walks, and playing in the yard with his doggy friends and people friends. <br/><br/><br/>The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.<br/>**For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**<br/>**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**<br/>***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***
