Jeremy Border Collie & Australian Shepherd Mix Houston, TX

Hi there!  I'm JEREMY, named after my favorite baseball MVP...Jeremy Pena!  You see, I was found on the day that the Astros won the world series.  So timing was perfect!

I was a lonely and hungry street dog, and a nice family took me in.  However, they could not keep me permanently, so they reached out to Red Collar Rescue, and thankfully I am now a part of their program. 
 
I went to the vet and for "the works"....vaccines, neuter, microchip, etc.  During my time at the clinic, they discovered I had a pellet in my scrotum.  Yes, someone shot me while I was on the street trying to survive.  

I'm approximately 1 year old and weigh 38 pounds.

Now I am in a foster home where I am getting lots of TLC and loving life!  My foster mom says I am a good boy!  I am house-trained and crate-trained.  I love to play with my foster siblings and hope to have a K9 friend in my forever home.  I'm a little shy with new people, but once we spend a little time together, you see my happy playful side!
