Jenny's Story

Jenny came to us as a stray while caring for six puppies of her own. She was understandably frightened when she first arrived, but she proved what an incredible mom she was, patiently raising her babies and giving them everything they needed.

Now that her puppies are grown and ready for their own homes, it’s finally Jenny’s turn. She deserves the chance to leave motherhood behind and simply be a young dog herself. She’s ready to play, explore, learn, and experience all the things she missed while raising her babies.

Jenny can be shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up, she is as sweet as can be. She just needs a little patience at first while she gets comfortable. Once she trusts you, her affectionate personality really shines through.

She is also one of our most dog-friendly girls and absolutely loves being around other dogs. Having canine friends seems to bring out her confidence and playful side.

Jenny weighs about 37 pounds, making her a great medium-sized companion. She is good with cats, but she cannot live with small animals or chickens, so she’ll need a home without those.

After raising six puppies and watching them move on to their own families, Jenny deserves someone who will finally put her first.

Jenny is currently in foster care, so please contact Have A Heart to inquire about her or arrange a meet-and-greet!

870-449-7387 (Tuesday through Saturday, 9 AM to 3 PM)

haveaheartpetshelter@gmail.com
