Jenny's Story
We're pleased to introduce Jenny!

She's likely not even a year old yet, she's full of energy and loves loves loves to play with dog friends. Sometimes she can be a bit much but is in good company that lets her know and is helping her learn to better manners. She's good with cats and seems to not care about small animals at all.

She's a water dog!!! She loves the water bowl, not only blocking it from others by laying over it but also digging and trying to sit in it. She loves the hose and will make her own fun with it if left unattended, especially if it's not producing water like it's supposed to, the audacity of those hoses.

This spunky baby would do best with an active family that's either going to hike or join a low impact dog sport with her. She currently doesn't seem to care about fetch or toys as much as she cares about food and who she can play with, a dog companion would be ideal! Or lots of dog park visits. We're sure she'll love a beach or lake to swim in.

If you're looking for a spunky adventure companion look no further! She's got her orange boots on and is ready to go any moment!

--------------------- About our process and fees

Our application: https://laststoprescue.com/adoption-app/
If you're interested in donating, sponsoring or volunteering please visit us at www.LastStopRescue.com or follow us on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/Laststoprescue.il!

We treat these dogs as individuals with needs and to that end all of our dogs will have been in fosters no less than two weeks, they will have at least started training if not attend weekly classes and get daily training at home with the fosters!

Which means our longest residents will be the best trained, as long as they're with us we're going to keep socializing and working through any issues they may have.

When you adopt from us you will have a very clear picture of the dog you're meeting and on going support!

Our Fees are as follows:
Senior dogs over 7 are $450
Adult dogs are $650
Puppies under 1 year are $800
Specific breeds are $900

With each adoption you will be...
1. Given up to four hours of free training (from the foster and coordinator),
a. Some dogs require additional free training hours before they can go home.
2. Full medical report of all findings,
3. All of the supplies needed for a new dog as we attain these for the care of each dog,
4. A full run down on their behavioral status, where they started, where they are and how far is left to go. This will be detailed in a training plan from us about what they can or cannot handle well and it will be discussed as much as needed!
5. On going support post adoption as long as needed!
We fully vet all of our dogs which is reflected in our adoption fee. On average we will pay about 600 dollars in medical per dog. Every dog gets a full blood panel, fecal/urine check, heartworm & tick panel and treatment if required, spayed/neutered, all shots and boosters, along with anything specific to their needs.
