MEET JENKINS! STATS: 3 years old, neutered, Lab/Hound Mix, 43lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: They don't call me Joyful Jenkins for nothin'! I am a total lover boy with boundless energy! On any given day, you can find me zooming my way all around the yard with my dog friends! Not only am I a playful and exuberant pup, but I am also super loving and very treat motivated. WHAT I LOVE: I LOVE other dogs and playing outside with them. I can get a little rowdy, so other pups have to be able to handle my spunk! Once I have gotten some of my energy out, I am a total snugglebug and love spending some downtime with my people. KIDS: I have not been formally tested with kids at the shelter, but the staff thinks I would do well with older kids who are respectful towards me and understand my energy level. OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter! CATS: Unknown HIS MATCH: I would be perfect for a family that will give me all the attention I want and allow me to get some of my young dog energy out before winding down to hang. I am such a happy boy, and I need someone who will see my joyful zest for life and love me to bits for it! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
