Jemma's Story

Meet Jemma!

Jemma is a 10 month old mixed breed! She is only 23lbs. A petite little lady. We are not expecting her to get larger, maybe a couple pounds. Her foster family sent a DNA test last week and we are happy to share those results when they are available!

Jemma LOVES other dogs, she is very playful! She would love to have a playmate but would also do well with an active family! She is a huge fan of playing fetch and going for walks!

Jemma is a great car rider, just buckle her up in the back and she will ride like a good girl! Like any pup, Jemma sure does love a pup cup!!

Jemma hasn't been around any cats in her foster home. She has been tested with outdoor cats and was cat curious! She was easily distracted away from the cats, but was very interested when seeing them, pulling the leash to be curious.

Jemma does not have kids in her foster home and she came in as a stray, so we are not sure if she lived with any previously. She has a great personality for kiddos, but is in the process of learning not to jump. She’s making great progress with redirection.

Jemma is fully crate trained. She sleeps in her crate when foster family is away and throughout the night.

Jemma is doing great with going potty outside, she hasn’t had an accident so far!

Jemma is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped with registration, heartworm negative, dewormed and current on heartworm, flea and tick prevention.

Fill out an application at sianimalrescue.org.
