Sky Hill Animal Society's Adoption Policy
Dogs are chosen by the Selma Animal Shelter Director and local veterinarian, Dr. Mark Lawrence from dogs at the Selma Shelter. Once a dog is selected for the Adoptable Dog Program, it is spayed/neutered, given all vaccinations and tested for heart worms. A Volunteer lead individualized training program is then put in place to ensure that the dogs will make a great family member for any home! Cats are selected by Selma Purrrfect Pals. The cats enjoy a free roam room designed to enrich their lives and get them ready for life in a home of their own. They enjoy the attention of several volunteers that come to play with them or just sit and pet them. Dogs and cats can be met at Selma Animal Shelter, 206 Medical Center Parkway, Mon- Fri from 10am- 4pm. Or arrangements can be made to meet them outside of shelter Hours at the Sky Hill Facility. Funds for these programs are provided through grants and donations. Dogs can be adopted for $120, and cats are $50.
