Meet Jeffrey.

Jeffrey had originally come to us from a negligent situation where he was, sadly, not being taken care of.

Jeff is a tiny little guy with a HUGE personality. He is obsessed with tennis balls and will play fetch for hours. He also loves stuffed toys but will proudly tear them to bits and pieces.

He can be protective of his toys and doesn't like to be messed with while he's eating so he is looking for a home without young children who won't understand his boundaries.

Jeff has unfortunately been returned to us twice now, once because his owners didn't have time for him anymore and the second time because he became very pushy and was in a home with young kids.

Jeff is such a sweetheart but he likes to be the boss and do things on his own terms. Once he's comfortable, he likes to run the show and isn't afraid to be dominant, with people or other animals.

If you try to be forceful with him he is not afraid to nip at you, although he has never showed that behavior in the many months he has been here at the shelter.

When he first came to us he came from a home with a large German Shepherd dog so we think he thinks he is a big dog even though he is under 10lbs.

Jeffrey has tons of personality! He is small but mighty, happy, energetic, and sometimes downright a crazy little spaz. He can also be very sweet and chill after he gets all those zoomies out.

He is now 6 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and kept on prevention here with us.

He is smart, energetic, playful, and protective of his people. He loves wearing sweaters and soaking up all the love and attention he can get his paws on!

Whoever takes a chance on this little guy won't regret it! He really is something special.
