Jefferson's Story

My name is Jefferson, and I’m what you might call a ‘perfect family dog.’ At least, that’s what my foster mom keeps saying. I’m a solid 85 pounds of love, mostly Labrador. Five years old, sleek, and apparently, athletic-looking. Don’t let the sleek part fool you, though. I'm a professional lounger.

My days are filled with snuggles. Seriously, I'm a snuggle-powered love machine. Little humans adore me, probably because I let them use me as a pillow. Big humans appreciate that I walk beautifully on a leash and know how to sit, even if I'd rather be sprawled out on the nearest soft surface.

I've met all sorts of creatures: kids, dogs, cats, even birds pecking around the yard. I treat them all with the same gentle respect. No aggression here, just a wagging tail and a hopeful gaze that says, "Might you have a spare crumb?"

All I really want is a comfy couch and someone to share it with. A family who appreciates a good nap as much as I do. A family who understands the power of a well-placed head nudge for extra petting. I have a lot of love to give, and a whole lot of lounging to do. Maybe, just maybe, you'll be the ones to give me that chance. Come meet me. I promise, you won't regret it.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
