She loves her humans and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Jeani has a rough start in life and can be a little shy at first. However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up. Once she settles, she is loving and trusting. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Jeani started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She has been introduced to cats and a rabbit. Jeani has been patient with them. She is crate-trained and doing well on her house training. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Jeani is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog.

Jeani’s Rescue Story

Jeani’s mom, Jeana, was abandoned in a remote mountain. She just had puppies and struggled to find enough food to keep her going. The founder of a rescue organization lives nearby and found them looking for food going up and down the mountain slope. The rescue quickly set up a trap so that they won’t miss the whole family. They waited for hours and managed to rescue Jeana and her 5 puppies. They all slept peacefully on their first night. The next day, they were taken to the vet for a complete health checkup. Jeani had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Jeani a loving home where she will never be left behind again.

Please watch Jeani’s YouTube videos below:

https://youtu.be/2Wj-CTGXTX4 - Jeani no food aggression
https://youtu.be/K-RucecFH2E - Jeani good with Mr. Rabbit
https://youtu.be/z6THHKcIj9A - Jeani good with Mr. Rabbit
https://youtu.be/ZnyskmRDnUw - Jeani good with Mr. Rabbit
https://youtu.be/HsSBcBvJjow - Jeani walking
https://youtu.be/Kz1hlM7bWSc - Jeani Hiking
https://youtu.be/TH95FT64tZY - Jeani Jeano Jeanu Jeanla Jeanli Vet Checkup

If you would like to give JEANI a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with your home photos.
You can also email your home environment photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org
Once we receive your application, we will get back to you ASAP.

Adopt a Doggie Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adopt-a-Doggie/312107112299799

Temperament:
Energy Level: Medium
Ideal home environment: Both Quiet & Active
Is the dog good with strangers: Shy
The dog is best with children of what age group?
