10/28/25- Pawhatan x Pauhaska no MC CN ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION 11/1/25 ***** Intact female ~2.5 yrs old 37 pounds Vaccines given 10-29-25 No microchip ALT ID# 10-28-25 25 intake notes - Very scared/unsocialized, needs serious training, may become fear aggressive, can be touched if you approach slow, does walk on leash behavior notes - initially very nervous/tense/avoidant, takes extended time to trust, once she trusts is very outgoing, jumps up for kisses and pets, appears to have a high prey drive, kenneled with 2 other female dogs she came in with. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull on 11/4/25; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian.
