JEAN's Story

Hi! My name is JEAN and I am available for adoption. I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 01/04/2026 I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend! I weigh 63 lbs and am considered a large breed dog. I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to sit. I am an independent dog who likes to do my own thing! I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.

Our adoptions are done on a "first-come, first-served" basis so please come in as a walk-in visitor for a meet-and-greet from noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. If you would like more information on an adoptable animal please come in during business hours as we will not be able to return phone call or email inquiries. We really appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you find your new pet!
