Jean's Story

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VT

Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: No
Good with kids: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
House Trained: Yes

Jean is a gentle, sweet girl who lives up to her “lovebug” nickname. She enjoys the simple things in life: squeaky toys, running around the back yard, and peanut butter treats like they were made just for her. She's a mellow companion with playful bursts and would love a home that gives her both affection and time to stretch her legs.

She does great with other dogs and has enjoyed friendly play in her foster home. Jean has met cats while outdoors and tends to bark at them, so a cat-free home would likely be the best fit. She's been around children as young as two and does well. She is sweet with them, but not fully aware of her size so dog savvy kids might be best.

Jean is both crate and house trained and follows her routine with ease. She loves her walks and only pulls a little in the beginning as she's excited to get outside and explore the world with her person. No doubt she will master the leash with consistency and familiarity. With her easygoing nature and polite manners, she would be a smooth addition to most homes.

If you're looking for a calm, affectionate dog who still enjoys a good game of fetch, Jean may be the one. Could she be your new best friend?

Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line.
