Meet Jèan – Your Future Best Friend, Jèan!<br/>Hi, I’m Jèan (pronounced “John”) – a handsome, fluffy 6-week-old large-breed puppy looking for my forever family! I was the biggest and bravest of my siblings when Texas Pit Crew rescued us from underneath a cold, abandoned house this winter. Life was scary out there, but now I’m safe, warm, and ready to find a family who will help me grow into the amazing dog I know I can be.<br/>At first glance I can seem a little shy – new people and places make me want to hide (it’s an old habit from my rough start). But give me just a few minutes and you’ll see the REAL Jèan: a bouncy, playful, high-energy love-bug who turns into the life of the party! I adore wrestling and tug-of-war with my foster siblings, zooming around with toys, and then crashing hard for a nap (preferably snuggled up or in my favorite hiding spot). I have the cutest little play-growl that will melt your heart every single time.<br/>A little more about me:<br/>• Big beautiful blue eyes and a thick double coat that will need regular brushing (I’m going to be a stunning adult!)<br/>• High-energy puppy who loves other dogs – I’ve been raised with big dogs (including Rottweilers) and I’m obsessed with my momma dog<br/>• Working on house-training and crate-training – I’m a smart boy and catching on fast!<br/>• I’ll do best in a house with a securely fenced yard (I still like to hide when I potty) and at least one confident, playful dog to show me the ropes<br/>• Dog-savvy kids are fine (no toddlers please – I’m a big, bouncy puppy who doesn’t know my size yet)<br/>• I’m a little unsure of new men right now, but with slow introductions and treats I warm up quickly<br/>• I ride best when crated in the car and I’ll need a slow-feeder bowl because I LOVE food<br/>Medical stuff (all taken care of so far):<br/>• I’ve had my first puppy shot, deworming, and flea prevention<br/>• Adoption fee: $240 total ($165 adoption fee + $75 spay/neuter deposit that you get BACK after I’m altered)<br/>• I’ll be microchipped and fully vaccinated before I go home<br/>My perfect home:<br/>• Patient, experienced dog owners who understand shy puppies and are committed to continued socialization and training<br/>• Another confident, playful dog (or dogs!) to be my buddy<br/>• Securely fenced yard (yard check required)<br/>• Someone home part of the day or able to arrange puppy breaks – I do much better with company or in my playpen than alone in a crate all day<br/>If you have the time, love, and another dog to welcome a big, blue-eyed fluffball who went from hiding under a house to stealing hearts in just weeks, I’m your boy!<br/>Ready to make me part of your family?
