Jazzy's Story

After a brief adoption, Jazzy is back at the shelter. She is in her playful era. She loooves her toys-chompies and chewies. She does good with on-leash walking. She knows her sit command and comes when you call her. She IS a puppy, but has great potential with guidance and patience to become an awesome companion! Ozark-Dale County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

After choosing the pet you are interested in, we require an adoption application to ensure your environment is a good fit for the pet you have chosen. When you have met and made the final decision to adopt the pet, we require an adoption contract to make certain you will be a good caregiver. Adoption fees are $125.00 for dogs/puppies and $75.00 adoption fee for cats/kittens. All age eligible pets are spayed or neutered prior to completion of the adoption process. If the pet is too young for surgery, you will be provided a date for surgery per the adoption contract. (Included in adoption fee.) If you choose to use your own vet, we will reimburse surgery fees up to the amount our vet is charging. Dogs are heart worm tested, on preventative, spay/neutered (if of age), and have vaccinations up to date, and micro-chipped. Cats are Feline Leukemia/Aids tested, spay/neutered (if of age), vaccinations up to date, and micro-chipped upon request. ~We also require a vet reference and/or home visit or alternate information.
