Jaz's Story

Meet Jazz 💙

Jazz is a 4-year-old female spayed Border Collie with a sweet, gentle soul and an engaging personality. She loves being outdoors with her person—helping in the garden, tagging along for chores, or heading out for quiet walks (the woods are her dream 🌲). Her joy sometimes shows as excited zoomy circles!

She does well indoors, settles nicely in a crate, and enjoys relaxing on the couch hoping for gentle pets. Once she trusts you, she’ll show off her adorable “happy dance” complete with a full-body wag and a soft whoo, whoo.

Jazz has good recall, walks on leash (still learning), and does well with other dogs of all sizes. She loves chew treats, gently takes treats by hand, and is more praise-motivated than food-motivated.

Because of a tough start in life, Jazz needs a calm, patient home. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her. A quiet, country setting is best—she would not do well in an urban environment.

🐾 Dog-friendly
🐾 Good with teenagers
🚫 No cats, chickens, or horses

Jazz is ready for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, loved, and part of the family 🤍

Jaz is currently being fostered outside of Portland, OR

Apply to adopt Jaz: herduneededahome.com/adopt-a-dog

For questions please email: hunahapps@gmail.com
