Jayne (foster to adopt) 's Story
✨SWEET JAYNE ✨ is looking for a foster to adopt home!

Jaynie was rescued last year from a high kill shelter in Georgia (see second photo) She spent most likely the majority of her life as a stray and was absolutely terrified of people! We have spent a lot of time with her getting her comfortable to the good life and we feel she is now ready to find her people!

Jayne is VERY easy inside the home! She is extremely calm and spends 99% of the time sleeping in her dog bed. She has become a happy content girl, she barks and wags her tail to greet me and her most favorite thing of all is food! She loves to spend time on the balcony so ideally she would go to a quiet home that has easy access for her to spend time in a yard or on a balcony.

Jayne is undergoing heart worm treatment which is not contagious. We will cover the entirety of her treatment and once she is healed will get her spayed. We would love to get her into her forever now so she can settle into the home she has always deserved!

Jayne is not destructive whatsoever in the home and she will bark to let you know when she needs to go potty. Jayne would be fine in a household with cats or dogs that are elderly or extremely calm that don’t go up to her when she is eating or chewing a bone. Otherwise she would most likely do best in a single pet household.

Jayne would not do well in a city environment, or with someone who wants an adventure dog/travel dog. She is still hesitant of the car and of new experiences. Jayne is perfect for someone who wants a homebody easy couch potato dog (she doesn’t go on the furniture) She would also not do well with young children due to her need for a calm environment.

Jayne is around 90 lbs, and around 6-8 years old. She has been vaccinated and is current on flea/tick meds.

Please message if you’d like to meet sweet Jayne!

Home check required*
