Jaxx is 5yr old Border Collie Lab Mix. She is an absolutely great dog. She would do best in a quieter home, adult only or with older kids and as an only pet. Jaxx rides very well in the car, she would make a great travel companion. She walks well on a leash. She would thrive in a home with a semi-active person for an occasional walk, a place where she is allowed to have the zoomies from time to time and just be a fun loving dog. Gem State Service Dogs & Rescue's Adoption Policy
A potential adopter is sent an pre-screening application for adoption and once the rescue gets the application back after it's approved, we will call to interview the applicant, then the person or family can arrange to meet the dog. If all goes well and the adopter wants to move forward the rescue will arrange to do a home check and bring the dog with the necessary adoption contract and all records. At that point is when we would leave the dog with the new family.
