Jax's Story

We received a surrender request for this handsome guy. Everyone meet Jax, a 5 year old male lab mix! We’re looking for a foster or adopter for him before he can become a Jax’s dog.

Jax lives with 2 kids now and life is kind of hectic and because of that Jax isn’t getting the attention or exercise he wants, needs, or deserves. Kudos to his family for recognizing that and just wanting what’s best for Jax. You don’t know the circumstances so no negativity please.

Jax is a beautiful but big boy weighing about 80 lbs. Being an adult he’s on the calmer side but still absolutely loves to play and explore, so he’ll make a great companion for an adventurous family who loves to spend time outdoors. He’s a little strong on the leash but that can be corrected with some training. He’s good with other dogs but unknown with cats.

While Jax knows some basic commands, he will need some additional training and that’s a good thing because it’s a great bonding experience with his new family. He’s smart and eager to please so he will learn quickly.

Do you want to foster Jax or make him the next member of your family?

If your answer is yes, that’s great! The first step is our foster or adoption application which you can find on our website: https://jlrrescue.org

Our coverage/foster/adoption area is within 1 hour of Warrington, Bucks County, PA which means if you’re more than an hour away you won’t be considered. We’re a small rescue with limited volunteers and we like to be available to our fosters & adopters for support so please respect that.

If you have any questions about Jax, please reach out to us by email at info@jaxslabrescue.org

Jax’s Labrador Retriever Rescue
PO Box 214, Warrington, PA 18976

PA Kennel License #18059

Jax will be an owner surrender from Penndel, PA
