Jax and Rocket's Story
Meet Jax and Rocket! Courtesy Post. URGENT HOME NEEDED. Bonded brothers since birth. 5 yr old Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix. Both fixed. A little behind on shots. OWNER WILL EUTHANIZE IF NOT ADOPTED BY WINTER. Owner bought dogs when they were little for grandchildren. Grandchildren don't want them anymore and Grandparents are getting older and can't continue to take care of them. Currently in outside fenced in area but owner said Winter is really hard on them outside. He said they would easily become indoor dogs. Jax weighs about 50 lbs and is more laid back. Rocket weighs about 75 and is more energetic, he's the spotted one. If interested online Adoption Application blountcountyhumanesociety.org contact Sharon 407-810-4391. We are a No Kill nonprofit 501c3 shelter supported solely by Donations and our All Creatures Thrift store 865-233-3739. We love our Volunteers and Donations! Want to support us monthly? Consider joining our Bark and Purr Club! Mininum Adoption Donation fee $100 ($50 per dog).
