Jax's Story

Jax was found roaming with two other dogs. A Good Samaritan took them in and reached out to us for help. He is 8 months old and weighs approximately 45 pounds.
Jax has the sweetest temperament and is a true cuddle bug! He really just wants to be a lap dog. He can stay in the kennel for about 7 hours without having an accident. He is working on leash training. He is good with other dogs and people including children but is still working on jumping up on people when he gets excited. He loves toys and will horde them and lay on top of them to protect them. He is not a fan of car rides so far or baths, but both are new experiences for him. He is food motivated so getting him to take medicine or do something for a treat is very easy. He has been taught him to stay out of the kitchen and is very observant . He loves to just sit and watch what is going on around him. Jax is learning very quickly and doing very well adjusting to life as an indoor dog.

Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vacations, vet check, fecal, deworming, neuter and a microchip. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the application listed below.

https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=DMBCNVST
