Hello there... I’m Jasper.<br/><br/>I’ve been keeping a pretty low profile since I arrived at the shelter on November 16, 2025. When I first got here, I wasn’t in the best shape. I was very thin, my fur was patchy and dirty, and I was feeling pretty unsure about the world around me. I kept to myself and tried not to be noticed.<br/><br/>But time — and a lot of care — can do amazing things.<br/><br/>Over the past few months, I’ve gained weight, my coat is growing back in nicely, and I’ve adjusted to shelter life. It’s not so bad here. The people are kind, I get regular meals, and I have a safe place to rest my head.<br/><br/>Still... lately, I’ve noticed something.<br/><br/>One by one, my friends are leaving with new families. I watch them walk out the door, tails wagging, starting their new lives. And while I’m so happy for them, I’ve started to feel a little tug in my heart.<br/><br/>I think it’s my turn to step forward.<br/><br/>I may be a little quiet at first, but underneath that reserved exterior is a loyal, gentle soul who just wants a place to belong. I’m ready to rise to the surface, to show you who I really am. I don’t want to just be a face in a kennel anymore — I want to be someone’s companion, someone’s comfort, someone’s family.<br/><br/>The shelter has helped me heal. Now I’m ready for a home where I can truly thrive.<br/><br/>Could that home be yours? ??
