Sadly, we’re looking for a new home for him due to an unexpected serious allergy our daughter developed — this is a very hard and devastating decision, but we know he deserves a family who can give him the love and space he needs. <br/><br/>Jasper is sweet, affectionate, and smart. He’s great on a leash, has good recall, and knows “sit” and “off.” He’s potty trained (just needs regular reminders) and kennel trained for bedtime and when left alone. He’s wonderful with kids and cats and seems to do fine around other dogs, though we haven’t had one in the home.<br/><br/>He’s a faithful watchdog who barks to alert but isn’t aggressive — no food aggression, and he’s very food/treat motivated, which makes training easier.<br/><br/>Like any young dog, Jasper still has some puppy energy! He’s a big chewer, so he’ll need plenty of toys, bones, and things to keep him busy (or he’ll find his own “projects” like shoes or trash). He’s also working on his jumping — he just gets so excited to see his favorite people!<br/><br/>Jasper would thrive in a home with kids over 5 and active owners who can give him playtime, love, and continued training. He especially adores women and children, and may take a little longer to warm up to men — especially those wearing hats or hoods — but with treats and patience, he’s quick to come around.<br/><br/>He’ll come with:<br/>? XL kennel<br/>? Toys and treats (with containers)<br/>? Full bin of food and scoop<br/>? Food bowl<br/>? Dog bed and blanket<br/>? Leash<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s full of love and potential, Jasper will make the perfect addition to your family ??<br/><br/>Jasper is almost 1 years old, he is neutered vaccinated, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Jasper requires a fenced yard.<br/><br/>He is currently being fostered in Castle Rock, WA.
