Jason Segel is a kindhearted fellow who is part of our How I Met Your Mother celebrity beagle group that recently retired from a research laboratory. Jason is a true Marshmallow and loves to cuddle up. He's a loyal friend who would love to meet up with his canine pals at MacLaren's Pub—or a local park. (He gets along with cats and kids, too.) He's a smart guy who is cratetrained and learning the rules of the home, like housebreaking. Beagles are used for safety testing of human and veterinary medicines for the same reasons that they make good pets; they're small, relatively easy to handle, and gentle-natured. Where does Happy Paws Rescue come into the picture? On a regular basis, research facilities have healthy beagles that they no longer need. That's when they release the beagles to us. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, socialization, and eventually, forever homes for these sweet dogs. It gives us and you a chance to give back to the beagles that have sacrificed for the advancement of science. Please email us if you're ready to be a giant hero in the eyes of a little dog!
