Jasmine's Story

Meet our tiny senior sweetheart

This little female Chihuahua named Jasmine is about 10–12 years old and weighs just 8 lbs, but she has so much love to give to the right person. Right now she’s very scared and unsure of the world, so she will need a patient, gentle home that will allow her the time and space to slowly come out of her shell.

She has been in her foster home for about a week and is already starting to trust them, showing just how sweet she truly is. Once she feels safe, her gentle personality really begins to shine. She loves cozy dog beds and super soft blankets, where she can curl up and feel secure.

She is fairly potty trained and will pee while on a leash, though she’s still working on it. She will also use a potty pad inside when needed. She rides well in the car too — she may be a little anxious at first, but after a few minutes she usually curls up and falls asleep.

This little girl doesn’t need much — just a quiet home, a warm blanket, and someone with a kind heart who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. In return, you’ll gain the sweetest little companion who will be so grateful to finally have her forever person.

If you’re the type of person who believes the best things in life are worth waiting for, she may be the perfect little match for you.

Jasmine’s adoption fee is $300Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am.
