Jasmine's Story

• 1.5 years old
• Breed: lab mix
• HW -
• Spayed, has had a litter of puppies
• Amazing temperament with dogs, people, and kids. (Unsure about cats)
• Not food aggressive
• Crate trained
• Is fully potty trained
• Walks well on a leash

Jasmine is the biggest SNUGGLER you'll ever own. She is so sweet and just loves to be around people and dog friends. She is young, so she does have playful energy, but she is so well mannered and not overwhelming. She greets other dogs and people calmly. You can find her playing with her toys or snoozing on the couch when she’s not in your lap wanting some attention. She is submissive and can be a little timid around new dogs/people but after a few minutes she warms right up. She is not going to be your guard dog. I’ve heard her bark once and it was playful. She is not barking at people or dogs walking by the house, and doesn’t bark at any unfamiliar noises. She will however be your best friend that will join you at the park, for your morning coffee run at your favorite spot, or sit with you for lunch on a patio. She really is such a great, easy dog.

She is not a big fan of water, but i think with time and patience she could overcome her fear. Baths in a tub are a no go.

Jasmine would thrive in a home as a solo dog or a home with another playful dog. She would also do well in a home with or without kids. She loves going to the park and going for walks, so someone with an active lifestyle would be ideal. In a perfect world someone who works from home would adopt her, but at the very least someone that could arrange for her to be walked a couple times a day. She loves hard, and deserves someone who will love her back just as much if not more.

info@journeyhomerescuealliance.org
