Jasmine #18's Story
Jasmine #18 is a 4-year-old purebred female chocolate Labrador Retriever who is just beginning her new chapter in life. Until now, she was known only as #6415, but for the first time ever, she has a name—and a chance at the loving home she has always deserved. Jasmine is one of 15 dogs we welcomed into rescue from a breeder who is closing their doors. She has spent her life in a pen with other dogs and has never truly known the comforts of a home or the joy of freedom. Despite this, Jasmine has a gentle, sweet spirit and is eager to please, though she may be a bit shy at first as she learns to trust. She does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, where she can safely run, play, and experience life off-leash for the very first time. Jasmine will need some help with leash training, as everything about being a pet is new to her—but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she will blossom. Jasmine is a truly beautiful girl inside and out. She’s ready to learn what love, comfort, and family mean.
