Living in the country we are used to lowlifes dumping their unwanted stuff off a county road for someone else to clean up - trash, appliances, old cars, and animals. Such is the state of our country now where its just someone elses issue to handle. A friend called me last night around dusk to tell me someone had thrown out a litter of puppies on her road and could I help. While we are just starting out, low on cash and literally overflowing with discarded animals (22 onsite) - My God would not let me let these dogs die alone and in the dark. We rounded them up and found eight (8) puppies hungry, scared, and thirsty in the woods. Looks like 7 are from one litter and one is the older sister from a previous litter. They are now fed and watered and safe but I have to ask for your help. These puppies did nothing to deserve the fate that some cretin deemed more convenient to them - all they ever asked is for someone to love them and take care of them. They need a family who cares. I am not one to constantly ask for help but this time I really need it. Please help me get these puppies into a home. Adoption fees be waived for this bunch. If you can not adopt - we always appreciate monetary donation or food donations, etc. We are a small rescue operation just starting out with no corporate sponsors, no tax-exempt status yet, and very limited funds. We have funded this 99% internally and 8 more mouths to feed is a bit overwhelming but my God will provide - He always does and I am praying that He will touch your heart to help.
